Quite a bizarre and in a way, surreal episode this one. So ever wondered what it would be like if nature had its way and took over the Earth? Well the episode tries its best to show us how it could be and I must say, I think its a very good interpretation of it. So let's take a look:
So Clara and boyfriend Danny are on a sleep over school trip with pupils of theirs as the sleep over at the London Natural History Museum. They wake up to a world where nature has finally had its way and has taken up much of the world that we live in. As always, Clara assumes that the Doctor can fix this problem and as it turns out, he and his Tardis are parked in Trafalgar Square which as you'd expect is inhabited by the forest that the world has become. But as some of us can expect, this job may take more than just a Time Lord to fix.
So as the episode before the finale, its quite an interesting one. It answers the question of what the world would be like if nature had its way and I don't know about you, but I feel its one of the few episodes in this series that isn't a successor or based on any other story of the past which is great. Its interesting, all the characters have something to do with a balance of drama and humour as and when its needed and I think this is a great way to finish things before we reach the 2 part finale and finally find out what's been happening to the dead and what is this Promised Land and who is Missy. 9/10
