Better late than never I guess. So as with most games that come out on Sony and Microsoft platforms, players have the opportunity to obtain a season pass which basically allows the player to get DLC for that game for free that would otherwise cost money. Now it doesn't apply to absolutely every single game as some season passes only give selected DLC for free, but that's OK. Among these games is Watch Dogs which in my opinion was a very good game that made hacking the next best thing in games. So let's take a look at Watch Dog's first story based DLC:
So Bad Blood takes place after the main story in the game so expect not many but some small spoilers (you have been warned). You get to play as T-Bone (voiced by John Tench) who you get to meet much later in the main game and is known for being a hacking legend as well as one of the many people who created the network ctOS which made him an asset to Aiden the Vigilante's cause. Its been a year since what happened in the main story and T-Bone is doing what he thinks is his last hacking job, but it turns out that isn't the case at all as he gets a call from an old colleague of his from ctOS called Tobias Frewer (who also appears in the main story and is voiced by Billy McLellan) who has Fixers hot on his tail and seeks T-Bone for help which after saving him, decides to keep the fixers away while also dealing with anyone who seeks out to kill Aiden as he now has a bounty put on his head by Blume. The DLC has all the stuff from the main game, but with a few added features like the ability to use an RC car in areas that T-Bone cannot access to do the hacking, or even stun enemies for him. There is also a new type of mission called Street Sweep which are basically missions that can be played alone or with co-op buddy/stranger and its basically doing a sweep of the street gangs with another player and that's it.
While it doesn't really change the game dramatically like with say Citadel (Mass Effect 3), Freedom Cry (Assassin's Creed IV; Black Flag) and Festival of Blood (Infamous II), its great that we get to enjoy the experience of Watch Dogs more with a more lovable character to play as (not saying that Aiden was a bad character in any way) and I like the idea of using an RC car to do the legwork for you. I thought that was pretty nifty. Its not the best DLC for a game that I've played, but the RC car and playing as a more lovable character from the main game, makes up for it and that's fine with me. 8/10
