So with the monthly update and the Halloween special post out of the way, let's now see what's been happening in the last week of October:
Marvel News - MCU Upcoming Film Releases
So following from WB's announced slate of DC films that begin with Bats VS Supes in 2016, Marvel and Disney have announced their MCU plans leading up to 2019 which occurred at a special presentation at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. This plan reveals the entirety of Phase 3 which begins with Ant-Man which releases next year in the summer and in this phase we're getting a Captain America film based on the Civil War timeline and a Doctor Strange film in 2016, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and the third Thor film (called Thor: Ragnarok) and a Black Panther film in 2017, Part One of a two part Avengers story based on the Infinity War as well as a Captain Marvel film and a Inhumans film in 2018 and the second part of the Infinity War in 2019. It is expected that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will tie in with some of these films if ABC continues to run it and we should also expect the start of the Netflix shows and the premiere of Agent Carter as well. So it looks like its going to be quite an exciting second half of the 2010s with DC and Marvel taking on each other at the box office, but who will win is the question that is on everyone's mind right now.
In other news, Disney get petitioned to have a film with their next princess having some form of special needs (sounds like something risky, but we'll see how this goes), Nintendo may finally be reaching its target profit for the first time in four years, LEGO may be giving away huge spoilers to the third Hobbit film just by looking at the sets that tie into that film, the finale to the Simpsons won't be coming any time soon but the producers have in mind for what it could be (and believe me, its not really that surprising in a way), Edward Scissorhands is returning in comic book form and Shadow of Mordor was apparently meant to be a Batman Nolanverse game according to devs.
