Torchwood: Miracle Day Review: Escape to L.A. (S4, E4)

SPOILERS!!!!

So continuing in secret, Jack, Gwen, Rex and Hester head to L.A. to continue finding out about PhiCorp which while doing so, they get pretty far. Before they went, Hester pays a visit to her sister and children who are suffering with social issues and because of it, Hester asks Social Services to handle it. Vera (Rex's doctor and now love interest) goes to an abandoned hospital which will be the HQ of a new campaign called "Dead Is Dead" which is being run by a politician called Ellis Hartley Monroe who becomes Oswald's rival and threatens with PhiCorps plans. Because of this, PhiCorp hire a bounty hunter/assassin to capture Jack alive and kill the rest of Torchwood which goes wrong later on. Meanwhile Rex pays a visit to his dad which sort of doesn't go down well. Oswald arrives at the HQ of "Dead is Dead" to compromise Ellis and allow PhiCorp to take her down. Rhys still in Wales, tells Gwen about how her dad is doing but while Rhys thinks its good news, its not and we will find out why in the next episode.

This episode I found quite good in terms of Torchwood once again being compromised and finding out more about the miracle. 8/10
