Review of the Week

So not much has happened this week, but fortunately these headlines got my attention so here they are:

Assassin's Creed News - New Game, New Assassin, New Era
So as Ubisoft's next fiscal year begins, the developers have announced another game in the AC series. Its another numbered title that takes place in the Caribbean Islands which will involve some exploration via ships and some combat here and there. Unlike Altair and Ezio, this title will have a connection with AC3 as its main protagonist will be (according to rumors) sailor, privateer and assassin, Edward Kenway, whom if I'm correct is the father of Haythem Kenway and grandfather of Conner. So far the game looks promising as it features a number of things from the last game that everyone loved. Now all we need to know is will it be out for 8th generation consoles? I certainly hope so. Oh and I'm expecting this to be the first of the main games to not have Desmond Miles (not saying that I hate him, just expecting him to not appear after what happened in the last game).

Xbox News - Rumours and Other Things
While there hasn't been no official word of what Microsoft's next home console will be called, what it looks like among other things, it seems that there are a number of rumours spreading about it and I'm just going to go through some of them. The CPU of the system has been leaked online and from what it says, it looks like the console will be more powerful than the 360 (which is expected by everyone). Also Microsoft have been working on 4 new IPs which are expected to debut on their new console (hopefully not another gun game) and its expected that the console will launch at Christmas time this year. Many people have also said that April 26th will be the day where Microsoft will reveal something at a press conference so their next console will be either revealed then, or we'll have to wait for E3. Either way, they will have to bring out the big guns if they want to surpass what the Wii U and PS4 can do. All we can do now is wait and speculate.

Now I know that I may have missed a few headlines this week, but honestly, this lot interested me more than the others. Anyway, I give give you this week's film (Cinema) and Video Game (excluding updates) releases:

Movie Review - Inside Out 2
