Review of the Week

Its been another eventful week with some very odd weather to go with it. But I don't particularly care about the weather, let's see what's been happening this week:

General News - A Legend Among Critics Passes Away
Yesterday, Roger Ebert died at the age of 70 after battling cancer. For anyone who doesn't know him, he was part of a duo called Siskel & Ebert who would take a look and review films (much like the guys on TGWTG) every week, going as far as 5 films, whereas other critics would only do 2 a week. His partner in crime is Gene Siskel who died on February 20th 1946 after some complications with some surgery he was having. The 2 of them, showed the world that films can be loved and enjoyed by many and they also introduced ranting where a reviewer like myself, can talk about something that I either love or hate, and just state my opinion on them. The 2 of them were an inspiration to many critics and to this day, remain to be the greatest movie lovers of all time. You will be remembered for a long time, Ebert and Siskel.

Pixar News - Not Another Sequel!!
Disney and Pixar announced this week that their next sequel film, will be called Finding Dory, which is a sequel to Finding Nemo and is due for release in Autumn 2015. The story takes place a year after the events of the first film and will be focused on Dory and the idea of her reuniting with her family. Its so far been confirmed that in addition to Dory, Marlin will return and Nemo and the Tank Gang have been announced to return, but no casting information has been given. Now from my point of view, as long as Pixar don't give us another Cars film, we should be fine (however, there is the upcoming Plane film, but that will be done by Disney only so that may change things).

Doctor Who News - More Info on the 50th Anniversary Special
So far, we know that the 10th and 11th Doctors will return along with Clara Oswald and Rose Tyler in the special and we now know that the Zygons, an enemy of the 4th Doctor, will also return, but it hasn't been confirmed yet if they are the main villains, but its good to see them, after a long wait. I should also mention that the special will be broadcasted in cinemas and in 3D for a limited time, which means that this special will truly be epic, if not fantastic should Mr. Moffat do everything right and has at least some of the classic Doctors in it.

That's your lot for this week, and as there hasn't been much else happening this week, I won't do a quick summary of the news this time, so let's see this week's film (Cinema) and video game (Retail, Downloadable and App) releases:
