So, yeah. I've haven't done one of these in a while. But to make it clear, I'm not doing reviews of the last 2 weeks, because there's no point of it at all. Anyway, here's what's been happening:
Star Wars News - Disney wants everyone to be fit for the upcoming film
With preparations underway for the next Star Wars film, Disney have asked the actors (mainly Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia)) to get into shape for the film and have even gone as far as getting trainers for them. To be quite honest, it's all fine and dandy, but do we really need to know about the actors and their appearances? I certainly don't, that's for sure.
Pixar News - What to expect from them, filmwise
Pixar have stated that they have done far too many follow up films and want to focus on original films and have them released every year with any follow up films to be released every other year. This in a way is good because it tells us that Pixar do want to entertain us with no backing down, but after the failures of both Cars 2 and Brave (both in reviews and box office), a lot of us felt there was no hope for them, but that may all change now, we hope.
In other news, Futurama spoofs ET and causes some controversy among many people, Xbox 360 beats the Wii in sales while in related news, Microsoft state a number of good and bad things for their upcoming Xbox One (which won't be causing any controversy unlike at E3, but I could be wrong). Thats all for this week so let's see this week's film and video game releases:
Films:
100 Bloody Acres (USA only. No plans for other areas)
Copperhead (USA only. Again, no plans for other areas)
The Heat (Various areas including USA and Canada with other areas to have a release in the coming months)
