Review of the Week

So after what seems to have been an eventful week, here's what's been happening:

Harry Potter News - Diagon Alley on Google Maps
It has come to my attention that Google are attempting to make fake locations appear in Street View and this is one of them. As any fan of Harry Potter like myself would know, Diagon Alley was the place where witches and wizards of all shapes and sizes go to get all their equipment for the jobs they do whether it be being a guard in Azkaban, working at the Ministry of Magic or just attending Hogwarts. Its great that Google are doing this because it means that they want to entertain us in ways that are better than just a themed logo or a popular video sharing service, both of which are great.

Channel Awesome News - TGWTG 5th Year Anniversary Special details
This week, after weeks of speculation, TGWTG has announced that the next anniversary special will commence on July 23rd and will finish on July 28th. Unlike the previous specials, this time around, the special will be a collection of shorts done by a few of the producers on the site. Now having seen that the last anniversary special was done on a large and epic scale, this seemed more appropriate to do and I can't wait to see what we get out of it.

And in other news this week, Square Enix have one of their FF game on Steam, Xbox One will keep trolls out, The PlayRoom will be preinstalled on all PS4s at launch, Ubisoft has the pleasure of getting its websites hacked ("welcome to the club" says Sony) and Red Bird gets his own episode with the Bad Piggies and their inventions on an Angry Birds update that was released this week.

Thats it, so let's go into this week's film and video game releases:

The Lone Ranger (Out in most places with more places to follow. Might review this film, but no guarantees)
Hammer of the Gods (Out in the USA only with more places to follow)
Stuck in Love (Out in the USA for a limited time only with more places to follow)
The Way, Way Back (Out in the USA for a limited time and Canada with more places to follow)

Video Games:

Monaco: What's Yours is Mine (MAC) (Worldwide)
Mortal Kombat (2011) (Windows via Steam) (Worldwide and I'll review this game at some stage)
Napoleon: Total War (MAC) (Worldwide)
Dark (Windows) (Worldwide)

Movie Review - Inside Out 2

I guess a sequel to the first makes sense here. I mean, for the most part, this franchise is all about the subject of growing up and with ...
