Review of the Week

After what seems to have been a very busy week for me, here's what's been happening this week:

Next Gen News - PS4 VS Xbox One
This week, it was confirmed by Microsoft that the Xbox One will be out a week before the PS4 in November. What this means is that it will be a fight to see which one will be bought the most over the holiday season. But of course, the Wii U is there as well. Either way, if you like what you see then go and get them, but for me, its PS4 and Wii U all the way. Speaking of which.

Nintendo News - Indie Awareness

Since the launch of Nintendo's eShop, Nintendo have become a much easier company to work with when it comes to Indie games. That being said, they have made it a priority that they should make the awareness level of Indie developers, rise so that people can enjoy a lot of great Indie games while also enjoying the many games that Nintendo have in store over the coming months. Also Pokemon X and Y are looking good and the 2DS looks horrible.

In a wrap up of this week's other news, LEGO becomes the second best toy maker in the world (beating Hasbro), All of the Russell T Davis era of Doctor Who goes HD with the release of the complete series 1-7 boxset (out in November) and UbiSoft have both AC4 and Watch Dogs looking pretty good in new developer walkthrough videos.

That is all for this week so let's see what films and video games are out for this week:

Films:
Riddick (Released in most countries with more to follow in the coming weeks) (Review coming soon)

Video Games:
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (Steam and PSN) (Worldwide)
Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (PSN, XBLA and PC) (Worldwide)
