Review of the Week

So ever since E3, not that much has been happening in the way of gaming which kind of sucks, but considering that we did have E3, I guess that's the way it is. So despite that, let's see what's been happening in the last week of June:

Star Wars News - Main Antagonists Revealed
So it looks like that the plot of the next Star Wars film (now delayed due to Harrison Ford's injury and rumours of J.J. Abrams dropping out) will involve what are known as Sith Witches and Mandalorians and both are expected to have big roles in the film. The big roles of which I speak of, look to be for the arch enemies and fans can rejoice with this news as everybody wanted the Sith in the film and now we get the Sith. For those of you who aren't too familiar with Sith Witches, they are effectively based on the Night Sisters from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Now the film still has a whole year before its release so hopefully, there will be no more problems before its launch, but we'll see.

In other news, sequel to Ryse gets cancelled, Xbox One trying to make a service similar to PlayStation's Instant Collection but failing to do so (among other Xbox One woes), Minecraft is being considered for Wii U and 3DS, Iwata to remain as President of Nitnendo following a re-election, a Legend of Korra game may be in the works and Just Dance officially becomes an eSport.

So on to the week's film and video game releases in most areas:

Films:
Transformers: Age of Extinction (Most areas with more to follow. Review coming, but not for a while)

Video Games:
Grid Autosport (Windows, PS3 and 360) (North America and Europe only)
Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark (Multi-Platform) (Worldwide. Review coming soon)
Valiant Hearts: The Great War (PSN, Windows and XBLA) (North America and Europe only)
Shovel Knight (Windows, Wii U and 3DS) (Worldwide)
Sniper Elite III (Windows, PS3, PS4, 360 and XB1) (Europe only, coming July 1 for North America)
