Monthly Update - September 2014

I have to admit, this year's summer blockbusters have been the best it has ever been which is surprising because the next two years are expected to be big for films as we get long awaited new entries in well established and much loved franchises like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the DC Cinematic Universe, Star Wars and so many others. I said not to long ago about my thoughts on the state of Hollywood and to be honest, I do still have those opinions on it, but I will admit, the quality of some of the stuff it releases has been great this year. So what does that mean for September you may ask. Well let's take a look:

So last year I talked about films related to schools so this time around, I'm dedicating the month to review the worst films ever made and this will be for films that both critics and audiences alike universally despise and I concur, leaving the worst film I have ever seen in my life to last.

And while it may not be a lot, I finally have something to do with gaming to talk about this month and that is some of the games being released to name a few.

And as always, videos and songs of the week as well as the week's nerdy news will come on as normal.

And now for our theory:

Film Theory - Is Michael Bay Out To Get Our D***s?
I think South Park can sum up how bad Michael Bay is just by us watching their take on him in the 3 part story arc "Imagination Land". But anyway, since the NC did a Bum like review on the latest Transformers film, something that stuck into my mind is, is Micheal Bay out for our d***s? Now the obvious answer for those that have a conscious and are smart enough to miss his films at the cinema is yes. Bay has your d***s and is using them to make more bad movies that make Hollywood look bad and greedy. Transfomers, the first one was great as its something we haven't seen before until then and with Steven Spielberg on board, how could it go wrong. Then its sequel came along with Bay trying to hide the fact that he alone, created the story instead of having to rely on others to do it for him and we got a terrible sequel that was too long, annoying and made us wonder why a revenge like this has to be 3 hours long when it can be summed up in a much shorter time than what we got here. The third instalment came and was among the first of many films to get unwanted sequels. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either with it yet again being too long and predictable. And now we get the fourth one that looks promising, but I can't really say anything about it because I haven't seen it and I won't be seeing it because unlike a lot of you, I know a bad movie when I see it and Bay can say all he wants about how people will still see it despite getting bad reviews, I won't be seeing it and that's final. Now to be fair, it seems that anything original that's given to Bay, works with Bad Boys and Pain & Gain being successful both financially and critically, but anything based on something, not so much. Bay is one man that sucks at film making, public speaking and even going to lengths to try and be as good as the man that gave him an internship George Lucas. It amazes me that someone who is despised by everyone smart enough to hate him, that he is still going to this day, continuously destroying our childhoods and making lots of money while doing so. Just give up already. That's all I can say.

Movie Review - Inside Out 2

I guess a sequel to the first makes sense here. I mean, for the most part, this franchise is all about the subject of growing up and with ...
