Gotham Review - Arkham (S1, E4)

Now things are getting interesting. Not only do we get to see more of Penguin, but we also get our first of what we hope to be many, glimpses of that insane place known as Arkham Asylum and I have to say, its looking pretty good. So with all that said, let's have a look at this episode:

So Penguin arrives at Jim's apartment to reveal that the upcoming war will be for Arkham. Meanwhile a hitman (played by Hakeem Kae-Kazim) with an armed telescope, kills a councilman. Gordon learns of the Arkham plans through Alfred who also reveals that Falcone and the mayor are backing the project. But as things get going, the hitman strikes again and its up to Gordon and Bullock to find him and take him down. Meanwhile, Penguin may be up for a promotion.

Another great episode in my opinion. It has more character development for Penguin, continues to give us more cases for Gordon and Bullock to tackle, all the while other things take place in Gotham too. It gets more and more interesting as it goes and I look forward to seeing how it all ends (well for series 1 at least). 9/10
