Review of the Week

Let's see what's been happening this week:

Marvel News - Civil War to be the next Avengers?
With the vast amount of news that I have heard regarding Civil War, it makes me wonder if it should better be called Avengers: Civil War rather than Captain America: Civil War because with the amount of news I've heard about who's going to be in the film, it does very much feel like the next Avengers. We already know that Iron Man and Captain America are in it. We also know that characters who have appeared in previous MCU films which include Vision, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Winter Solider, Falcon, War Machine, Scarlett Witch and by the time the film comes out, Ant-Man, will be in it as will some of the background characters from those films as well. But the news on who is going to be in it is still coming and the film isn't even out yet. Obviously we know that Black Panther will be making his MCU debut here ahead of his own film and even though these are nothing more than rumours at this point, Spider-Man will no doubt be in it, though played by a very young actor compared to Tobey Mcguire and Andrew Garfield. Its also been reported this week that Agent Carter (in the image above) may make an appearance which while this image is a leaked image, chances are that as its a Cpatain America film, she has to be in it in some form or another. But what's even more interesting is that while we have these new Avengers alongside Iron Man and Cap, there has also been reports that Hulk may make an appearance following a tweet that Mark Ruffalo did earlier in the week. Age of Ultron kind of left the future of Hulk in question so yeah. But you know despite all these big news, there is one person that Marvel have not said yet if he will be in it or not. That person is Stan Lee and you can't do a Marvel film without him. So make it happen Marvel.

In other news, Pacific Rim 2 is pushed back again, George Lucas reveals that there was a short film that played before Empire Strikes Back started back in its cinema run all those years ago, the western epic that is Red Dead Redemption reaches its 5th anniversary while the game's creator Rockstar is happy with how things are going with GTA V, Avatar 2 gets bumped due to problems with the planned trilogy, Daniel Craig is to appear in a future Star Wars film, Nintendo have big things planned for the future, Square Enix decide to delay their E3 press conference by an hour to avoid Nintendo, Intersteller star Matthew McConaughey reveals that he has been reading scripts for upcoming DC and Marvel films and is interested in doing roles for either and Marvel and Star Wars may be getting their own networks.

Now onto the week's film and video game releases in most areas:
