TV Episode Review - Melinda (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S2, E17) + Under the Knife (Gotham S1, E20)

This time, Skye meets someone she thought was long gone in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the story arc of a serial killer called "The Ogre" continues in Gotham. Let's tune in:

Melinda
So with Coulson out doing things, May now being in charge of his base, decides to investigate into Coulson's actions since he became director of S.H.I.E.L.D. This eventually leads her into finding out about another base that he is trying to set up. Meanwhile, Skye continues to learn how to control her powers, unbeknownst to her that her teacher is someone she thought was long gone and that May may have played a part in what happened in the past. A bit of an interesting episode this one as we get both May and Skye a lot on screen which is good in a way as we finally see Skye's past unfold more as well as a bit of May's past is revealed as well. We are getting ever so closer to the Age of Ultron tie in episode, but I suspect we have at least one more episode to go before that very episode, but I am looking forward to it. 8/10

Under the Knife
So the last episode began this little story arc to do with this serial killer who calls himself "The Ogre". This Ogre character tells Gordon to continue his investigation before he kills another victim and Gordon does so with help from Bullock and the GCPD. Meanwhile, Bruce and Selina attend a Wayne Enterprises Charity Ball which even though they go as guests, they go to it for some other reason. While that happens, tensions between Maroni and Cobblepot fall into play when the former makes an unexpected appearance at the latter's club. Also Nygma finally goes insane. Yeah its a pretty packed episode with a lot going on, but in light of all this, I have to say, I've never seen Erin Richards (who plays Barbara) look so darn hot and attractive. She should wear formal dress more often because I don't know what you guys think, but damn she looks hot. 8/10
