Review of the Week

In the last week of August, let's see what's been happening:

Star Wars News - The Force Awakens villain is not what we thought him out to be
It won't be long now till we get the long awaited 7th episode in the Star Wars saga and as we get closer to release day, it's revealed that the main villain of the film called Kylo Ren who is to played by Adam Driver, may not be what we were expecting. The director J.J. Abrams who has kept us all updated on his social networks, revealed that the villain is not a Sith but rather someone working under a powerful figure on the Dark Side of the Force. However he is obsessed with this side of the Force and chooses to pursue its lore and find artifacts that are linked to it. He is also part of a team called the Knights of Ren who in a similar fashion to the Sith, take on the name Ren in their names. That's really all we know at this point. I'm sure more information will be given to us near its launch, but its very interesting about the main villain and its a very different change for the saga because before this information, the only villains that were known in the galaxy were those who welcome the Dark Side of the force (the bounty hunters don't count as they are really just following orders and take on their own things). Still, its getting me more pumped to see this film.

In other news, Warner Bros. are in talks to make films in China, del Toro's upcoming film Crimson Peak is looking great, Mass Effect 4 looks like the other games but still no returning characters, a video creation feature for Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V will be coming to PS4 and XB1 in September and Nintendo's next console called the NX will not have a disc drive according to reports.

Now onto the week's film and video game releases in most areas:

Films:
We Are Your Friends (Some areas with some more to follow)

Video Games:
Madden NFL 16 (PS3, PS4, 360 and XB1) (North America only)
Until Dawn (PS4) (North America, Europe (including the UK), Australia and Japan only)
Lara Croft Go (Android and iOS) (Worldwide)
Satellite Reign (Win, OS X and Linux) (Worldwide)
