TV Episode Review - Paradise Lost (Agents of SHIELD S3, E16) + Mad Grey Dawn (Gotham S2, E15)

This time, SHIELD gets captured by Hydra (well most of them anyway) and a new villain has left trails for Gordon to follow in Gotham:

Paradise Lost
So this episode, we learn of where Malick is with Hydra in that he chooses to lead the "religous" side of it, following the death of his father in 1970. SHIELD and the Inhumans continue to locate Hive which leads them to finding yet another Inhuman who gives them a Kree device. However as they seem to get the upper hand, something bad happens. As much as I like the series as it progresses, this one I felt was good in that we get some back story on Malick, but the rest of it I just felt wasn't very good. This has nothing to do with my anticipation for Civil War, I'm just talking about the episode in general. That's all. 7/10

Mad Grey Dawn
Having been released from Arkham, Penguin visits the grave of his mother and there, he meets a long lost relative of his who welcomes him into his family with open arms. Nygma who now knows that Gordon questions him about Kris Kringle, begins to move further into his Riddler persona by disguising himself and begining a set of riddle solving crimes for Gordon to solve and a few other crimes along the way that give him the upper hand. While on the streets, Bruce gets taught by Selina on how to stop crimes taking place. And finally, a certain individual awakes from being in a catatonic state. A lot is going on in this episode and I kinda actually like it. It answers some questions, it keeps the character development going and it gets unpredictable and that's great. 9/10
