Video Game Review - For Honor

I often find that when someone at E3 is presenting something, a lot of the time, these people tend to forget what's great about E3 and instead focus more on something that is fine to listen to, but E3 isn't the place for it and by that, I'm talking about technology and the business side of things which we seem to listen about more than the games and even game presentations are just ok at best with only a handful of people being enthusiastic about them. I mean come on. This is E3. Its all about the games and no one is going to play your games if you're not enthusiastic about them which has been the reason why I only play a select set of games every year and not every single game in existence. But enough ranting about E3, let's talk about For Honor. A game which if I'm being honest, had by far the most awesome presentation you can get at E3. Not only was the man enthusiastic about it, he also made us pump for it and he did in such a way that it was quite simply badass. So let's see if this game is as badass as he said it would be:

Set in Medieval times with a fantasy like setting, we come to know this dark lord who uses her powers to start an all out war between 3 factions, the Legion (Knights), the Warborn (Vikings) and the Chosen (Samurai) using forms of manipulation as she finds each faction to be weak. The story is then separated into 3 chapters, showing the events that transpire from the perspective of each of the factions. So you get to play as three different warriors, each of which have their own strengths and weaknesses, but how you control them kind of remains the same. With three factions, there are four classes which are the Vanguard (a well balanced class with excellent offence and defense maneuvers), the Assassin (a class that is fast and efficient in fighting enemies, but deals less damage), the Heavies (a class that's resistant to damage and work well with holding capture points, but the attacks a slow) and Hybrids (self explanatory as its basically a combination of the three previously mentioned classes and can make use of uncommon skills). As the game progresses, you get rewarded for the stuff you do and like most games, its got its own set of collectibles that you can find. You can plow through the campaign mode or you can go online and battle others.

So while not completely original, its a pretty decent game. The story could do with some work, but otherwise its gameplay is great, the graphics are great when used on the right machine for you (in my case, my gaming PC) and while I know that Ubisoft aren't known for doing original IPs, this is one of their good ones. Its not a perfect game mind you, but its great for multiplayer and I don't think we'll ever get a E3 presentation like what we got again. 7/10

But on the subject on what my preferred faction is, I would go with Vikings mainly because of the beard and how war hungry they are generally.

Movie Review - Inside Out 2

I guess a sequel to the first makes sense here. I mean, for the most part, this franchise is all about the subject of growing up and with ...
