You know ever since Minecraft came out, so many other developers have tried to replicate its success by doing their own procedurally generated games. Some have done really well and others not so much (although in the case of No Man's Land, it did get better after months of updates with the promises that were made). So here we are with another game like that and one that seemingly is easier said than done partly due to the name of the game. So let's build some tracks:
Unrailed! has no story as such and is largely a fun co-op game all about building tracks for a train in a procedurally generated world. You do this by gathering resources to craft tracks with the limitation of only using one type of tool hence why the game is better being played with others than by yourself. While I may have said a world, its actually more than one world in this game which makes it all the more fun and challenging. You can upgrade the train to better equip itself for what lies ahead with things like an atomic engine or a supercharger.
Its blocky, good fun and a great game to play in lockdown. There isn't much else to say about this game other than that. Its another perfect game for lockdown even though for some of us, its nearly over or has been over for a while. 8/10
