Torchwood: Miracle Day Review: Immortal Sins (S4, E7)

SPOILERS!!!

So as we've not got a single clue on how the miracle occurred, this episode is more of a flashback of one of Jack's adventures during his time with Torchwood (before meeting Gwen and the rest of the team). He meets and falls in love with this Italian guy and shares many secrets with him while also helping him understand the truth about Jack's immortality. This eventually See's their relationship end and the start of the miracle. Back in the present, Gwen gets forced to give up Jack to the miracle day conspirators to save her husband, mother and child and her only contact to the conspirators is via the lenses. Unaware of the Torchwood software and its potential, Ester and Rex send a distress signal to Cardiff which the police pick up and save Gwen's family and also help take down the conspirators who then reveal to Jack that his long lost lover has waited a long time to see him again and is the only person who knows about the miracle better than others.

Although a flash back is great in every way, I felt that there was less action in this one than the others so far in the series. Still getting good though. 8/10

Now in the way of reviews, Doctor Who returns this week and I'll be doing a review of that when its broadcasted on Saturday. I will be on holiday next Thursday so when I return, I'll be doing a double review of Torchwood on a single blog post with a Doctor Who review soon after. Peace.
