AC5: Best Films of the Year: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Among most films that were released this year, this was by far the most anticipated film simply because its the final film in the hugely successful franchise that is Harry Potter. Based on the novels of the same name by well known British writer JK Rowling, Harry Potter 7 Part 2 was in my opinion, the best Harry Potter film and probably the best way to finish the series on a high note. Both parts of the Deathly Hallows are the first and only films of the series to be shown in real 3D and IMAX 3D which definitely delivers despite it being very dark and intense. The story continues where the previous film left off as we see Harry and his friends, Ron and Hermione infiltrate Gringotts to find the next Horcrux before returning to Hogwarts to find the remaining 3 (a diadem, the snake Nagini and the part of Harry's soul that connects him to Voldemort) and ultimately face Voldemort in a war that sees witches and wizards face against death eaters, dementors and magical creatures of all shapes and sizes in order to bring either peace and love or hatred and eternal darkness to the magical world but of course that decision more or less depends on who lives out of Harry Potter and Tom Riddle aka Lord Voldemort. To see a more in depth review of the film, check out my other review on this film. The DVD, Blu-Ray, 3D Blu-Ray and downloadable verisons of this film is available now so put it on your list if you're a hardcore fan of the series as I am or even better, get all 8 films in a box set or collector's edition box set. Believe me, you'll like this one.
