Video Game Review: Super Mario 3D Land (3DS)

Well to kick off 2012, I can finally now do a review of Super Mario 3D Land after waiting so long to get my hands on it.Will it be as good as some of the more recent titles in the franchise?Let's find out:


Gameplay:

Seeing as the story is the same as most Mario games, its normally the gameplay that is the main focus of making a Mario game. This game combines elements seen from past Mario games to make this a good game. Elements include a time limit, 3D levels, star coins, 7 costumes/power ups (4 old and 3 new), old and new enemies and some other gameplay elements that make this game fun and enjoyable by many. 9/10

 Graphics:

Unlike Super Mario 64 DS (which was the last 3D game that I remember playing on a portable device) the graphics in this game are more colourful and well detailed that overall make this game a must buy for any Mario fan and the 3D effects of the 3DS make it even more fun and enjoyable by many. 9/10

Overall this game is definitely a great Mario game which despite not being a masterpiece like Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 were, is still fun and enjoyable to play. Well done Nintendo!! 9/10
