Movie Series Review: Happy Feet

Now this series of films offers fun, comedy and enjoyment while also addressing a very important issue to do with Penguins and their survival. Its a good mix that makes films like these great and informative. So far, only 2 films have been made with the filmmakers still discussing on if they should continue. Now I shall give you my opinion on them so let's get to it:

Happy Feet:
As the first film in the series, this one focuses on Mumble, a penguin who loves to toe tap but cannot sing and with that, he now tries to fit in with the crowd and also must find out what's happened to the fish and who these so called aliens are with the help of the 5 amigos from Adelieland and a love guru called Lovelace who according to him, was the first penguin to confront the so called aliens. This film is by far, one of the best films that I've seen as it tells people an important message about the penguin's survival and is also possibly the first animated film to incorporate some live action moments. Brilliant!! 10/10

Happy Feet Two:
Taking place sometime after the first film, Eric, the son of Mumble and Gloria, is struggling to fit in with the other penguins as he wants to fly rather that do dance or song. As Mumble must help his son come to terms with a true penguin's normal life, Emperorland is trapped by a large iceberg and now all the nations of Antarctica must unite to save them. In a sort of sub plot (which can be a rip off Ice Age), 2 prawn like creatures feel that they should adapt and so they then go away from their people to do so, but it doesn't end well. While this film does have the potential to bring another important message of a penguin's survival, I feel that its not as epic as the 1st film but more entertaining and fun (not to mention in 3D too). Its good, but it could be better. 9/10

Overall, the series does show everything that a person like us, should know about a penguin and its survival while being entertaining at the same time so good work Warner Bros. 9/10
