Video Game Series Review: Katamari

Among all the games that I play, this is probably the most weird, crazy, fun, addictive and insane series of games that I've played. Now I'm not really going to break it down into its different games but rather just say what you do. The gameplay is basically the player rolling a ball (best described as a katamari) which has a powerful stickyness to grab anything smaller than it to make it bigger. At the end of the levels, the katamari then transforms into a star. For each of the games, there have been a few differences in the content. This includes collectable items in the levels, shopping for stuff and many more. While the majority of the levels are to just get the katamari to a certian height in a certian period of time, some levels may have different conditions like roll up the largest object, roll up everything or even roll up say the largest cow or bear. Overall, I find the games (although addictive and fun) can be very short and there's not that much else to do after its done. Its a good series, but it can be worked on to make it better. And for those reasons, it gets a 7/10.
