Attraction Review: Warner Bros. Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter

Now seeing as this is my first review of an attraction, I will not go into too much detail with each one I do as it will ruin the experience for you guys. However, like with my West End reviews, I won't be making a habit of doing these reviews on a regular basis (due to financial reasons).

Anyway, so after about 10 years of the boy wizard conquering the world, the film makers of Harry Potter, now show us all the stuff that was used into the film series that showed British (and some Irish and Scottish) Talent at its best. All the props, costumes, machines, scenes and models are all the real deal (unlike that Harry Potter Theme Park in America). So the question is, is it worth the money? My answer to that is yes. Not only will you get to see all that I have mentioned already, but you will also get to try real Butterbeer, children can acquire a passport to put stamps in and to find various Golden Snitches, If you pay more money, you can use a digital guide to direct you to various places (it's actually a modified iPod Touch with the voice of Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) explaining about the object as well as some galleries and videos on there too) and you also get a souvenir guide book, and so much more. The highlights for me, was entering the great hall (which is the first stop on your visit) and see just how big it is, seeing a very large model of Hogwarts and the gift shop containing things like Every Flavour Beans, Chocolate Frogs (with a wizard card inside), wands that come in many forms, replicas of various props used in the films and a lot of other stuff too.

Overall it's an experience that any hardcore fan of the franchise will love and remember for a very long time. Bit hefty with the price tag of tickets, but overall, a very enjoyable experience (if you're into that kind of thing, that is). 9/10
