Review of the Week

So after a very stressful week (for me anyway, mostly with work and other things), here's what's been happening:

Ubisoft News - Impressed with the PS4
It seems that even without seeing the look of the console, many developers are just adoring it for what it can do. Ubisoft, who have been very supportive of the PS3 in the last few years with the Assassin's Creed series, have said this week that the PS4 has fixed all known problems (but that is yet to be explored as of yet) and the console will give them the opportunity to make their games (mainly Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Watch_Dogs) visually impressive. With all this coming from one of the big video game companies of the world, it may look as if the PS4 will stand a chance in the 8th Generation of gaming, but we'll see when it eventually comes out. Additonally, Ubisoft have also stated that both the PS4 and the next Xbox will have graphics that will blow you away. But unlike most gamers, I'm more into what will be available for both consoles, because in all honesty, there's more stuff to like, than just the graphics.

As well as this, EA announce some more games and hope to continue making FIFA games until early in the next decade (like we care), BioWare releases a ME3 gun replica for a very expensive price of about $300, Disney Animation (not Pixar) get to work on a film based on a not so well known Marvel comic titled Big Hero 6 and also announce some other films that many of us won't particular care about unless they are good (which may not happen for a while yet), LEGO give us some nerdy sets for our wallets to suffer from including the Tower of Isengard from LOTR and the rare Mr. Gold minifigure, oh and Futurama is getting cancelled for the last time and the 50th Doctor Who Anniversary special will not have any classic Doctors returning (like we didn't know that already).

That said, let's now look at this week's film and video game releases:

Films:
Aftershock (Kuwait and the official USA release with a release for Hungary to come in June)
No One Lives (USA release with a release for the UK at the end of the month)

Peeples (Worldwide release)
Star Trek: Into Darkness (Worldwide release with more to come in the coming weeks) - Review on Monday
