Review of the Week

Well this week has proven to be very hot for me. Summer has truly come at last. And as we enjoy the sunshine, let's see what news has come about this week:

Ubisoft News - Thoughts on next Generation of Gaming and Splinter Cell
This week, Ubisoft have given us thier thoughts on 2 things. Firstly they have stated this week that thier upcoming Splinter Cell game will be a great fit for the Wii U and that is good news for Nintendo. As you all know Nintendo haven't been doing well with the Wii U due to lack of games for it, but now that they have Ubisoft giving the treatment that the console deserves, there is now hope for them (and yeah I know EA stopped supporting them a while ago, but who really cares about a company who only give us games that no one gives a toss about (except for Mass Effect, Brutal Legend and everything that BioWare makes. Those games are awesome)). Additionally, Ubisoft have given their thoughts on the upcoming Xbox One and PS4, stating that the 8th generation won't be the last as there is still ways to innovate gaming (if you want the full report of that, go to a gaming website like CVG or GameSpot).

Nintendo News - A New Franchise in the Works
As Nintendo seem to rely more on countless games from their already established franchises to keep thier consoles going, Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Wario, Pikmin and the Wii titles Wii Fit and Wii Music, has announced that he is working on a new franchise, but he won't say what it is. What he has said however is that Nintendo are working on the system side of things for the Wii U to give owners a better experience and will be releasing games for it to make use of those new features. That is good news because while we all like Nintendo's timeless franchises, there will be a point where those franchises, will likely be the death of the company if things don't do well, but for now, they seem to be doing just fine.

And to wrap up this week's news, GTA V and AC4 get gameplay videos and further explanations of them, Doctor Who writer Mark Gatiss starts creating a Doctor Who story starring the classic doctors (some of which, will not be done by the original actors for obvious reasons) which will be separate from the 50th special and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes gets it's boxart revealed and confirmation of its existence on PS4 and Xbox One.

Movie Review - Inside Out 2
