Review of the Week

After a week of Comic-Con (which I didn't go to this year for financial reasons), here's what's been happening this week:

EA News: Apple now their Biggest Retail Partner?
So you've heard me say a lot of the time that EA suck when it comes to making games as they seem to put more effort into Sports games, than original IP games which people like WB Games and UbiSoft seem to do better. But what may surprise some of you (not me) that their recent sales figures have come from the most unlikely of retailers, Apple. Yes, that's right, the company that were the first to get a good but not great Simpsons game, are now the biggest retail partner for the worst video game publisher. What a shock.

DC News: Man of Steel sequel to feature Batman as well as Superman
Now I understand that Warner Brothers are desperate to get a live-action Justice League film underway, but what I don't get, is that they want to have a superhero team up or battle in their next big screen hit. Its not original and for most people, its best if we had another Superman film that continues the development for the character and then move into making a team up or battle film. Seriously guys, you should take notes from Marvel.

And in a round up of other news this week, more speculation about the PS4, The Simpsons are to have their third crossover with Futurama (this time, on screen) after Futurama's final episode either on the season finale or next season premiere of The Simpsons, casting speculation for Star Wars 7 and Nintendo says no to Japanese Indie games for Wii U.

And now for this week's film and video game releases:

Films:
The Wolverine (Worldwide Release with more countries to follow. Review on Monday)
The To Do List (USA and Russia only with more countries to follow. Won't be released in all countries)

Video Games:
