Review of the Week

So as another month ends, here's what's been happening this week:

LEGO News - Minifigure MMO in the works
A few years ago, we got a LEGO MMO called LEGO Universe and while its time was short lived due to lack of players playing it, it was a pretty decent MMO featuring the world of LEGO. Now it looks like LEGO will be returning to the MMO market with a new MMO in the works, featuring characters from the LEGO Minifigures theme. This game is due to be released in 2014 and will be created by Age of Conan and The Secret World developer Funcom. Its also been said that all the minifigure toys will be having their own code which can be inputted into the game to allow you to play as them. Funcom have stated that they will be talking more about this game before the year ends so watch this space. As for me, its looks promising from my stand point.

DC News - Batman VS Superman to be shot in Michigan
Just to recap on what's been happening with this film. Snyder announced at Comic-Con this year that the Man of Steel sequel (due for release in 2015) will feature Batman (played by Ben Afflick which upon the announcement, has been very controversial among fans, but as a fan myself, I'm keeping an open mind because you never know, he might be good) as well as Superman (played once again by Henry Carvill) in some form of fight. Additionally, there have been rumours about some unannounced characters including Lex Luthor and some characters in the Batman universe. It was announced this week that this film will be shot in Detroit and other areas in Michigan. I personally don't really care about how this film is done, as long as its good, then I'm happy. Oh and Snyder also explains the reasons for those massive explosions in Metropolis in Man of Steel (Oops, should have said spoilers, oh well).

Nintendo News - Release Schedule for the remainder of 2013
With Nintendo releasing a number of games for the Wii U and 3DS, it seemed only right for them to tell us when the games are out, and they haven't made me disappointed, until I saw what the 2DS was. But despite that, there will be a Zelda, Sonic, Batman, Assassin's Creed, Wii Party, Donkey Kong, Mario, LEGO, Pokemon and a Professor Layton game all coming to either or both the 3DS and Wii U before the year ends, so make sure that your wallet and body is ready for them, if you want them of course. And in additional news, there may be a Wonderful 101 sequel in the works.

And just a little bit of other news to say, which is that Mass Effect 4 is still in the works by BioWare with the potential of some spin-off media for some of the fan favorite characters like Garrus, Aria and Javik.

That's all for this week so I now leave you with the week's film and video game releases:
