Review of the Week

Here's the week's nerdy news:

Star Wars News - One of the Greatest Villains of All Time Returns
So in a bit of news regarding Darth Vader, it looks as though rumours of his return in Episode 7 are false (well sort of). This comes from Irish WWE superstar Sheamus who for the past week dropped hints on his Twitter feed that led to many of us believing the unthinkable of Vader returning. I personally wouldn't mind seeing Vader again on the big screen, but seeing as he has already been killed off, I don't see it working unless the upcoming Star Wars films are reboots or something like that.

BioWare News - Mass Effect Producer leaves after 16 years
Its been a while since I had more news that is worth an in depth mention, but anyway. So after 16 years of working for BioWare, Casey Hudson the producer of the Mass Effect series has decided to leave the company to start the next phrase of his life. In a letter to his colleagues at BioWare he mentions about how he's come to enjoy his time there in what has felt like a lifetime for him and also says that work on the next Mass Effect and Dragon Age games are under way and are expected to be the best games they can be for both franchises. Its a shame to loose such a great game developer like him and since playing the 3 Mass Effect games, I've every minute of his work and wish all the best for him.

In other news, there may be more Harry Potter films on the way (but we all knew that anyway) according to WB and speaking of Harry Potter, Radcliffe makes it clear that rumours of him being a James Bond villain are untrue and it looks like he may have a good future ahead of him post-Harry Potter, Zach Snyder denies rumours of Aquaman appearing in Batman V Superman but does think he has potential of being a badass and fans of Assassin's Creed who only have a PS3 or Xbox 360 will not miss out on Unity as there will be another AC game made exclusively for those platforms, releasing around the same time as Unity.

And now for the week's film and video game releases in most areas:

The Expendables 3 (Most areas with more to come. Review coming soon)
The Hundred-Foot Journey (Some areas with more to come)
Into The Storm (Most areas with more to come)
Step Up All In (Some areas with more to come)

Video Games:
Metrico (PS Vita) (North America and Europe only)
Sacred 3 (360, PS3 and Windows) (North America and Europe only)

Movie Review - Inside Out 2

I guess a sequel to the first makes sense here. I mean, for the most part, this franchise is all about the subject of growing up and with ...
