AC10 - Gotham Review - Harvey Dent (S1, E9)

So much like with last week's episode (I am of course directing that to the UK lot), we have another episode where its name is kind of giving us the hint that you'll see the titular character in the episode and what a shock, we do (though not for the majority of it but that's OK). So let's take a look:

So after being arrested as well as being the target for many of Gotham's crime families, Selina Kyle is put in Wayne Manor for protection while Gordon searches for the man that Selina believes to be the man who killed Thomas and Martha Wayne. During this time, she and Bruce begin bonding and opening up to each other as Bruce continues to learn how to fight from his butler Alfred. As this is going down, Penguin makes contact with Liza, there is some news about the future of Arkham Asylum and a bomb maker gets to work with a group of Russain mobsters. And yes, we do get the appearance of one Harvey Dent (played by Nicholas D'Agosto) who after this episode, will play a key role in finding the man responsible for the death of Bruce's parents.

So I felt this episode was kind of rushed with not much really to be going on. Its great to see more character development with all the characters thus far as well as this version of Harvey Dent retaining the split personality that his Two-Face persona (which he will no doubt become over time) is known for, but I just felt the story was rushed and as much as I like the show, it just didn't work for me this time. But that being said, you can't really have a show that is perfect all the way as there has to be at least one bad and one OK episode in any show. But that's just my opinion at the end of the day. 7/10
