AC9 - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Review - The Writing on the Wall (S2, E7)

Never thought I would see so much alien writing in one episode and for those of you who missed last week's episode (and when I mean last week, I am of course talking of the UK audience), there will be spoilers so if you rather not get spoiled, stop reading this now. As for the rest of you, let's take a look:

So Coulson has become so obsessed with this alien writing, that he's been carving a lot of it on a wall at HQ and as a result, hasn't been getting much sleep because of it. Later however, Skye, who has been watching in the background, accompanies Coulson as they go to investigate the apartment of a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who has connections with this sort of thing. Meanwhile, Ward has escaped from being taken into the custody of his brother and is being hunted down by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who I guess are just keeping an eye on him and later on, Coulson enters what is known as the memory machine to find out more about this agent while also getting some interesting info regarding project T.A.H.I.T.I.

In my honest opinion, if you've not seen the show up to this point, you will seriously be confused and lost because this is a very tough if not, complicated episode to follow. It does bring not much, but a bit of closure to this whole alien writing thing as well as making Ward an enemy of S.H.I.E.L.D. that will no doubt be wanting to take them down after what they did to him, but I might be missing the whole thing all together. Anyway, not the best episode in my opinion, but anyone who wants to watch it, seriously needs to see previous episodes to understand it because it is a very tough one to follow. 7/10
