I realised that I forgot to do a monthly update last week so as you've probably guessed, its the third set of Advent Calendar posts this month and I will also be looking at all the great stuff that this year had to offer in the way of Nerdy news, video games, films and whatever else comes to mind. And yes, I will be reviewing a few more Christmas films, Disney films and also reviews of any films and video games that came out this year that I have yet to review and want to review (among them includes The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies). So again really sorry about not giving you a monthly update and I will do my absolute best to remember to do them in future. So with that out of the way, let's see what's been happening this week:
UbiSoft News - Next Assassin's Creed game leaked (and then confirmed)
This week, those of us fans who can't wait for the next game and decided to try to hack and leak things, managed to do just that and it looks like the next game will be taking place in a Victorian London. Now for me personally, I'm one of those fans that is patient and will be prepared to wait for the game rather than be too hyped and curious about it. Its never nice when someone decides to do something like this as it always has the company who is making it (this case being UbiSoft) look bad and feel really upset that their plans for the reveal are ruined by hackers. Yes, the series does have a massive fanbase, but I think we can all work together and just let UbiSoft reveal it in good time. I mean Unity and Rouge only just came out a few weeks ago and I'm still trying to complete it even after my review of them both. But anyway, that's just my opinion on the whole situation and I really do feel that UbiSoft need to really get a more secure servers so that something like this doesn't happen again. Anyway, so yes, the next game, called Assassin's Creed Victory, will be released next year, will have its historical setting set in Victorian London and will come out for 8th gen platforms (except for Wii U) and PC. Just understand that UbiSoft may not even do any more games in the series if people keep doing this as its just not right. Not right at all. And to you leakers and hackers out there, you should all feel ashamed for what you did.
In other news, Harry Potter fans can now study at a real Hogwarts in Poland, developers of Kingdom Hearts III are taking Marvel and Star Wars into consideration for the next game while Amazon have a release date down for December 2015, Angry Birds Star Wars II is completed as new levels that cover the remainder of Attack of the Clones and have Revenge of the Sith done in a nutshell are put into its latest update while Angry Birds Seasons gets its next big countdown to Christmas update too, Speaking of which Tapped Out and Quest For Stuff get their Christmas events rolling, the cast of the upcoming Suicide Squad film is revealed (which includes who will play the Joker in this cinematic universe) but Batman: Assault on Arkham has made the bar pretty high for the film, PlayStation celebrates 20 years and Microsoft congratulated them, Mass Effect 4 will be delayed by a year and many believe its down to piracy issues, James Bond 24 gets its name and it will be known as Spectre and the nutball that is Frank Miller wants to do Dark Knight Returns 3.
Now onto the week's film and video game releases in most areas:
Films:
The Pyramid (Most areas with a small amount of other areas to follow)
Video Games:
Game of Thrones: Ice From Ice (Multi-platform except for Ninty platforms and PSV) (Worldwide)
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix (PS3) (NA, AU and EU only. Already out in JP)
