Well another year is almost gone and for many of us, this was a very good year. So what do I have to give you on my blog for the first month of 2015? Well I'll tell you:
In January of this year, I gave you several lists of my all time favourite things so this time around will be a little bit similar, but because I was going through burnout with those lists, it won't be as bad this time. Some days will be lists of certain things (mostly stuff that I've wanted to make a list about, but never really have had the time to) while others will just be me catching up on any video games or films that I missed this year that has just gone.
And as always, expect to see my review of the week and videos and songs of the week posts on Fridays and Saturdays (not this week however as it will be the new year and I doubt that there will be much for me to post regarding news, videos and songs).
Now for a theory:
Marvel Theory - How the MCU will end?
So over this past year, there has been a lot of debate about how the MCU will end as Marvel Studios have given us their release schedule of films for the next several years leading up to 2020 as well as any TV shows to fill up the gaps, and with both Marvel and Disney working hard to reclaim the rights to make films about the many characters in Marvel's comics, its possible that the end game could be anything. At this point in time, the future of the Spider-Man films which Sony currently have the film rights to, are stuck in limbo as Sony doesn't know what to do with the character and as such, the rules are that if a distributor who has the film rights to a Marvel property fails to make any films using the characters made available to them after such a period of time, the rights would then be reverted to Marvel and Disney and both companies would then find a way to incorporate those characters in the MCU. This wasn't the case for Guardians of the Galaxy because unlike Spider-Man, a film based on the characters was never made since their debut so that mean't that Disney and Marvel already have the license to them. But in the case of The Avengers, Paramount (and Universal for The Incredible Hulk) and Disney had to negotiate for Disney to acquire the rights to them following their acquisition of Marvel Entertainment and after a period of time, it was a sucess and both companies agreed to give Disney the distribution rights and allow Paramount's logo to be shown in the advertising and the films themselves with Disney being credited at the end which was the case with Avengers Assemble and Iron Man 3. But I'm going off topic here. So the end game I see happening is that all the characters in the films and the TV shows would come together for one big climatic battle that will determine the fate of the universe (though that might be stretching it a bit too much, but that's just me) or end it the way they started it by having a popular Marvel character which could very well be Spider-Man. And I would think by the time 2020 comes, Marvel and Disney will have reacquired the rights to all Marvel properties and can start anew. How they can start anew is up to them, but that's juts my take on it.
Hey Howdy Hey People of the Internet and welcome to my blog Wolfathon! Here I do written reviews of films, TV shows and video games along and other posts too! I'm also on YouTube and my channel is quite simply called Wolfman407-.
