Review of the Week

Its been a pretty busy week for me, but let's see if the world of nerds is even more busy:

DC News - Aquaman (the live action version) Revealed!!
So with DC and WB preparing for their upcoming cinematic universe, Zach Snyder revealed this week on Twitter who and what Aquaman will look like. For those of you who don't know, Aquaman is in a way, a sea man who through his powers is able to talk to fish and swim among many other things. In many versions of the team, he is one of the founding members of the Justice League and from the way this universe is going, its looks like it will be that way here. He will be played by Jason Momoa who some of you will know as Khal Drogo from Game of Thrones and Ronon Dex from Stargate: Atlantis (which sounds quite fitting when you think about it). I may not know much about this sea superhero, but I do know that with his presence, this will certainly be one of the toughest battles in box office history. Marvel VS DC with a whole pile of Star Wars, Harry Potter spin-offs and LEGO films in between from the way things are going right now with WB and Disney.

In other news, Samuel L. Jackson claims that Marvel are more accessible than DC (which may be arrogant of him, but I kind of agree anyway), The LEGO Movie directors didn't get an Oscar but the animators of other shows missed the directors who apparently were not in attendance, it looks like Missy will return in the 2 part premiere of series 9 of DW which is expected to be quite a big one too, Angry Birds maker is to tailor games to the Chinese market soon, Simpsons: Tapped Out has gotten a whole lot super in the latest update and J.J. Abrams says that some of the leaked plot details of Star Wars 7 are true.

Now onto the week's film and video game releases in most areas:

Films:
Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (Some areas with more to follow)

Video Games:
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round (PS3, PS4, 360 and Xbone) (Japan, Europe and NA (PS3 version) only)
Total War: Attila (Win) (Worldwide)
Pokemon Shuffle (3DS) (Worldwide)
Kirby and the Rainbow Cruise (Wii U) (North America only. Coming soon to EU. Already out in JP)

Movie Review - Inside Out 2

I guess a sequel to the first makes sense here. I mean, for the most part, this franchise is all about the subject of growing up and with ...
