Gotham Review - Welcome Back, Jim Gordon (S1, E13)

So after watching last week's double bill, I can only say that its going to get even better from here on out. Jim is back in the GCPD, Cobblepot is still rising in Gotham's criminal underworld and other stuff is happening too. So let's enter Gotham and see what's happening this week:

So Fish Mooney after what happened last week, is now in the hands of a guy called Bob who is Falcone's top servant and is in charge of torturing her. Meanwhile at the GCPD station, Bullock and Gordon get acquainted with one Arnold Flass and the three of them work on a public homicide case which Gordon suspects that one of the GCPD's own may be behind with a few tensions between them as it goes. Elsewhere, Bruce and Alfred (who were both absent in the last 2 episodes) return from Switzerland where they meet a young Ivy Pepper who is sent to give a message to Selina Kyle.

Quite an interesting episode as it explores the early days of the GCPD where most if not all the cops where corrupted as it should be explored and its also great to have Penguin continue rising to the top with him potentially getting that one nightclub that many of us Batman fans knows that he owns or in this case, will own at some point. Not as near as jam packed as the last 2 episodes, but its certainly one that continues to bring character development to most of the characters and I like it, despite that. 8/10
