So after playing the game last year, it quickly became one of my all time favourite games which is mostly down to how fun it is and the fact that it is either the only or one of a few zombie(ish) apocalypse games where its not depressing and there's mostly positive stuff than negative. But of course as most 7th and 8th gen games go, you get to buy yourself a season pass to download any DLC that comes out for free rather than having to pay a fee for every single one of them, and the first of the story based DLC has you travel to an oil rig where mayhem ensures. Let's take a look:
So on land, a distress call is heard and the player character is sent to go and investigate with the help of a few old friends and as I said, mayhem ensures as there is a giant tentacle monster lurking under the ocean and the mutants here are consuming oil rather than OverCharge Delirium XT. The gameplay is the same as before and you get a few more stuff to use such as amps, costumes, weapons and the like and its pretty much the same gameplay as before. Its full with pop culture references like the main game (including one that you Hitchcock fans will like) and it makes you want to dust the game off to have fun once more.
Yeah not really much else to say. Its pretty much an average DLC which doesn't change anything in a big and dramatic way, but does give you some new stuff to play with and some more collectibles to grab and other stuff. It continues the fun that the main game had. I just wish there was more of it. 8/10
