Review of the Week

So despite recovering medically, I was still able to be in the loop of things during the week. So let's see what's been happening this week:

Film Release Date Madness
So many of us know of this gaming expo called E3 as well as this big media event called Comic Con. But what many of us don't know, is that the film industry has something quite similar to E3 that takes place annually. This is an event known as CinemaCon which like E3, is there to show the world news, trailers, interviews and sneek peaks of upcoming films and its not only blockbusters, but other ones as well. This explains to many why we got trailers for Star Wars 7, Jurassic World, Batman V Superman and Terminator: Genysis all in the short space of a couple of days. Now Universal have announced some release dates for some of their upcoming films with Pacific Rim 2 coming in Summer 2017 (this is likely because Legendary now do Universal films than WB ones), Warcraft which is based on the hit MMORPG World of Warcraft coming next year in the summer, more the Universal Monsters reboot films are coming as well but not for a while yet and Fast & Furious 8 will be out in 2017. There is plenty more film news to come yet, so stay tuned.

In other news, WB attempt to get the female demographic out there in an upcoming female only DC show while Suicide Squad director reveals the Joker to the world via Twitter, Daniel Craig rejects Sony's product placement of their phone in the upcoming James Bond film Spectre, Ubisoft are working on a new triple A title that could very well be up for competition against their own Assassin's Creed games, Square Enix will finally be doing an E3 press conference this year (this could be interesting), Joss Whedon rules out another Avengers film and instead looks into doing a Star Wars or DC film next, Series 9 of Doctor Who is being worked on but won't be here until the fall of this year, filming of the Assassin's Creed film is to commence in the fall of this year, TellTale Games is working on a Marvel game, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish get credited in Ant-Man and next Wolverine film is to be the last for Hugh Jackman.

All of these are according to reports seen all over the internet so yeah. That is a lot, I will say, but hey at least it gets us pumped for what to expect in the coming months. Now onto the week's film and video game releases in most areas:

Films:
Avengers: Age of Ultron (Most areas with many more to follow. Review on Monday)
The Age of Adaline (Most areas with a few more to follow)

Video Games:
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China (PS4, XB1 and Win) (Worldwide. Review coming soon)

Movie Review - Inside Out 2

I guess a sequel to the first makes sense here. I mean, for the most part, this franchise is all about the subject of growing up and with ...
