Review of the Week

Its the last week of May, so let's see what's been happening:

Rockstar News - Red Dead Redemption 2 is a thing
With GTA 5 now being seen on all known home consoles and PC as well as GTA Online now finally containing heists, another game that is rumoured to be happening is the long awaited sequel to one of the best western games of the last generation, Red Dead Redemption which just so happens to be the second game in the Red Dead series (seriously look it up, there was a game before Redemption). Anyway, so far, Rockstar haven't denied of its existence and have also not confirmed of its existence either. But according to leaks (seriously guys? You still can't leave the Internet alone), the sequel has been in development for 3 and a half years under the name Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West and will be released next year. Take-Two Interactive who are the parent company of Rockstar, have stated that a triple A title is to be coming before the end of its fiscal year which is around March 2016 so that game could very well be this very game. Now with E3 only being a week or two away, chances of us seeing this game in action is possible, but Rockstar may hold off until a later time seeing as this game won't be out for a while yet.

In other news, a PS4 release of Silent Hills is still possible with Guillermo del Toro being attached to the project but Konami say otherwise, Warner Bros. Games turns 5, Microsoft aim to bring former Xbox exclusive games like Halo 5 to the PC, Sony feel that the Vita is dead but are finding ways to keep the console alive and still going, Pac-Man is getting another game based on the infamous level 256 glitch to celebrate his 35th anniversary, Half-Life 3 is finally a thing, Mad Max is getting a video game and BioShock is still considered an important franchise to 2K. That plus all game developers and publishers are getting ready for E3. Its going to be great as always.

Now onto the week's film and video game releases in most areas of the world:

Films:
Aloha (some areas with a handful more to follow)
San Andreas (Most areas with a few more to follow)

Video Games:
Audiosurf 2 (Win, OS X and Linux) (Worldwide. Series Review coming soon)
