Review of the Week

Let's see what's been happening this week:

Disney News - D23 Expo 2015 Report

Some of you will remember last week when I said that Disney were having an expo for us to look at thier upcoming stuff. And now that its been and gone, let's have a look at the news we got. Johnny Depp is Disney's newest Disney Legend as he appears in costume as Captain Jack Sparrow where we got news on the next Pirates of the Caribbean film. Big Hero 6 will appear as a world in Kingdom Hearts III and for a first in the series, it will be a continuation of the film's ending (and I can say first because the Aladdin world had the story from the first 2 films used in the games). Along with characters from Star Wars and Inside Out, Disney Infinity 3.0 will also have characters from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Good Dinosaur films as well as some more Marvel characters as well. Plenty of new lands were announced for Disney theme parks which included a Star Wars, Avatar and Toy Story theme lands and an Iron Man ride. And there was also some news on Disney's upcoming film Zootopia and the future for the Frozen franchise. Footage for Doctor Strange and Captain America: Civil War were seen. A lot was said and I think most people that went, would be a D23 member (something of which I want to be, but the website isn't making that possible) as well as some press as well. A lot of great things to look forward to from these guys.

In other news, Sony and other studios get into trouble over a lawsuit, the next Mass Effect game will have multiplayer of some description in a big world, Alien 5 is to come out after Prometheus 2, a patch for Arkham Knight for PC is coming but may not solve all issues, Nintendo may consider making a return to Hollywood in the near future (but the poor result of Pixels may say otherwise), Zorro is to return in a new film (which is said to play out similarly to Mad Max) and combat is changing in Minecraft.
