This time, a first in the show's long history, the Doctor spends a whole episode alone (or so we think):
So following the last episode and with as little to no spoilers as possible, The Doctor is sent into an area in which he must escape from. But this area is built to scare him and with no one to help him (no companion, no guest star and even no Tardis), the Doctor must face his greatest challenge yet.
I know most people hate Steven Moffat and his predictable writing, but I have to say, this episode was very original and quite brilliant. Its one that threaten's the Doctor's psychological state into great lengths and throughout, he questions about his existence and starts to show some insanity when talking to someone believed to be dead. I'm actually quite excited for the next one as we see a world that was long thought to have been destroyed. 9/10
