So our second Netflix show from Marvel finds us going into the life of former superhero turned PI, Jessica Jones who resides in the New York area. Things seem to be going all OK for her, until an old friend turned enemy of hers, returns to haunt her and through his mind controlling abilities, makes attempts to take her down a notch and tear her world apart. And that's pretty much the show in a nutshell, plus we meet Luke Cage prior to his show which we will see next year.
While not as good as Daredevil, this show manages to continue the dark and mature taste that Daredevil had and shows us a very manipulative villain who is a force to be reckoned with. I quite liked the show a lot, but it did become quite sickly after a while, but still an alright show to say the least. 8/10
