AC12: Movie Series Review - Cinderella (Disney Animated) Sequels

I may have said this once, but might as well say it again. Disney do sequels. Some of you may not know this, but for a lot of Disney's films, most of them have had a sequel in the form of a very cheaply made direct to home media thing as it were. DisneyToon Studios is the studio that handles this department where they make sequels and spin-offs to Disney's animated films. Cinderella is one of the oldest of Disney's films to get sequels and it got 2 of them and a live action remake many years later. Now as I've tackled the original film and the live action remake already, today its just the animated sequels. So get your glass slippers and your fairy godmothers, let's review these things:

Dreams Come True
One common trend of these sequels were that some of them would be 3 tales rolled into one big film because well it was set out to be a TV show, but this never came to be (and there are many others like this) and in all honesty, don't expect this to be anywhere near as great as its predecessor. The main story is that the two mice from the original film work with the Fairy Godmother to make a story that happens after the Happily Ever After and this is told in 3 segments each one featuring one or more of the main characters of the original film. Now as the original film is a very old film that came out following the war, the majority of the original cast are replaced with some more recent voice actors such as Jennifer Hale and Rob Paulsen. I wouldn't go out of my way to say its good because to me, its a bore fest and just not worth the time. If you're a fan, then maybe you will like it. But for everyone else, just miss it. That's all I can say. 1/10

A Twist in Time
Now this is a true sequel that actually makes an effort to tell just one story throughout and despite it featuring characters from the last film, it kind of forgets what happened in that film and acts as a sequel to just the original film. How ever you see it, that's what it is to me. So all is well in the kingdom until the stepsisters and Lady Tremaine come across the Fairy Godmother's wand and accidentally turn her into stone. With the power now in their hands, they go back in time to finally enact their revenge on Cinderella, but one of the stepsisters may have a change of heart. So as I said, this feels a lot more like a proper sequel. It does follow your typical revenge story, but it does do better than the first sequel did. Can't say any more than that. 9/10

One good sequel and one bad one. A film like Cinderella doesn't really need a sequel as the original film was fine as it is, but this being Disney in the pre-Iger days, money mean't everything to them and this is what we got as a result. 7/10

Movie Review - Inside Out 2

I guess a sequel to the first makes sense here. I mean, for the most part, this franchise is all about the subject of growing up and with ...
