So what we have here is the Salvation Army and just by looking at the name, it may make you think that this is to do with the armed forces. Well its not, but they do a lot of good things for the world just like the armed forces do with them fighting for our countries and our safety from all sorts of threats. But back to these guys, these guys give those less fortunate than us things like, food, shelter, companionship and advice. And its not just homeless people that they help. They also help old people, families, children, adults, just everyone and its all about helping people in times of need such as Christmas. You see them all over the place ringing bells and doing other things just to get money from people to help in their cause. And they go out to get money in the cold. That alone makes this a worthy cause if you're doing something that no one would want to do at this time of the year.
That's all I have to say about them. They are a great charity and their only goal is to help people less fortunate than us, especially at Christmas where they aim to give people a Christmas to remember and to remind us that there are people out there who won't necessarily have the Christmas that you're going to get.
