Video Game Review - The Witness

I would like to first of all apologise for the lateness of this post. I've had to deal with a lot of things this week, one of them being setting up my gaming PC which is now all up and running after just over a month of building it and getting it all set up. So the Witness. This is a game that was announced a few years ago with its initial introduction being in the PS4 reveal press conference. For those of you who don't know, this is another one of those unusual but brilliant indie games and was created by American video game developer Jonathan Blow who was the creator of Braid, another well known and loved indie game. So let's get to it:

So the game has you play a unnamed character who has to take on many puzzles on some kind of island to reach a mountain. Its played from a first person perspective with over 650 (according to Wikipedia) puzzles to solve, but only a portion of that is required to complete the game. It will be challenging, but if you have many hours to spare, then go for it. One thing I will also say is that the game looks beautiful with some very impressive graphics and its just well presented all around.

There's not much else to say other than go out and buy this game. Its a great game that will keep you busy for hours and if you like pretty graphics, then you'll enjoy this game. Nuff said. 9/10
