Apple buying Disney?!

So most of you may know that I haven't been going with the plan I put in place for this month. The main reason for that is that I have been dealing with some personal issues and its because of those issues that I haven't been able to make time for blogging. But I hope to get back on track with things in May so we'll see where things go from there.

So today I thought to address a rumor that has been spreading across the internet and that rumor is Apple potentially buying Disney.

So on the positives, if Apple were to buy Disney, it would make them one of the richest if not the richest company in the world when taking into account of what Disney have at their disposal (Pixar, Marvel, LucasFilm, Maker Studios etc.) already. It also makes sense because many of the Disney employees (especially those at Pixar) use Apple devices to help make their films and it wasn't until his passing that former CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs was Pixar's biggest shareholder and an even bigger one following Disney's official acquisition of Pixar.

But on the negatives, it would mean that some or most Disney things like apps and what have you, would be exclusive to Apple devices. It most likely will not affect any pre-existing deals that Disney have with video game publishers like EA, Square Enix and more recently WB Games who all want to bring out Disney games on as many devices as humanly possible. And as much as we all like both companies in what they do, that's not to say that they have had some bad times in the past, not together but in their own separate worlds so to speak.

In my opinion, I think its awesome that such a rumor like this could happen as it would help each company out a ton. But it is kind of scary to look at two of the richest companies and brands in the world to become one big company or brand and united, they would make more money than the likes of Donald Trump and other business people and celebrities/important people.

I would like to see how this escalates and who knows, maybe it will happen. Maybe it won't. We'll just have to wait and see.
