Monthly Update - February 2018

Hey Wolfians (nickname for my fanbase),

So the first month of 2018 is almost over. Here's what's coming up in February:

Reviews will include Aardman's latest film about cavemen, A Marvel film about a certain panther, an anime video game and more. As always, depending on their performance critically and commercially.

If I have time, I may also do a top 25 list.

Also some news about the future of Boxes of Stuff. Having had enough of Marvel Collector Corps due to lack of variety and that I have way too much Marvel stuff as it is, the posts will now be back to a monthly basis. In the place of Marvel Collector Corps are the return of My Geek Box and a new box created by IGN in partnership with My Geek Box.

And I'm also looking into doing a similar post for boxes of snacks. Stay tuned for more info on that.

May do something for Valentine's Day, but we shall see.

And now for the first time in a while, a news story:
In light of the Disney and Fox deal, Sony have recently come out to say that they may put themselves on the market should things not improve. For those of you who don't know, Sony Pictures are the ones that have made a number of films with their most well known being all 6 Spider-Man films, the Men in Black films and Ghostbusters. But despite the great stuff, they have also made some stinkers with the majority being from Adam Sandler's company Happy Madison and their own Sony Pictures Animation. Its understandable with the current climate in the film industry, but I'd say as long as they restructure the animation side of things and kick Happy Madison out of the company completely, then maybe they can start being great again. Point Grey (Seth Rogen's company) have given Sony nothing but great films despite the controversy surrounding some of them. And while some of the Spider-Man films have not been perfect, some of them are ranked as being among the greatest superhero films ever made. So while not everything they have made are bad, all they need is a bit of restructuring and hopefully things will work out OK for everyone.

Anyway, see you all in February.
