Well I promised that I would review it this week so here it is. So we've already had newer seasons of the other Defenders in action following the events of The Defenders so now we return to the main who started it all. Daredevil (reprised by Charlie Cox) is one of the many creations made by the late Stan Lee alongside Bill Everett and Jack Kirby. The idea would be that he would bear some resemblance to Batman, but actually be as blind as a bat while resembling the form of a devil of sorts. At least that's how most would see him. So let's see what the latest season holds for Defender number 4:
Loosely based on the "Born Again" storyline and set after The Defenders following the Daredevil's apparent death, the Devil of Hell's Kitchen is found by a taxi driver who quickly takes him to a sisterhood of sorts for him to heal. But when word comes out that Wilson Fisk (reprised by Vincent D'Onofrio) has been released from prison, Murdoch must decide to either hide himself from the world or embrace the vigilante he has become or maybe start anew with his former friends and allies.
If there is one thing all the Netflix Marvel shows have in common, its that they tend to start off slow but soon pick up the pace as time goes on. Some like it that way, but I'm with those who doesn't like it when things start off slow especially if that time is spent on something that's considered annoying and such. But anyway, I have always seen Daredevil as one of the strongest of Marvel's shows on Netflix because it started things off for the Netflix part of the MCU and quickly made it clear that this cinematic universe can go down a darker and twisted path than any of their films can (well maybe with the exception of Infinity War) with there being no limits to what they can do... mostly. Its another great season for the Devil of Hell's Kitchen and I hope we get more in the future even if it ends up being on Disney's new streaming service (what ever that will be called) or still on Netflix. 9/10
