Random Video Game Review - Neon Chrome

So since Kingdom Hearts III, there hasn't been many other games released that I fancied playing. So I then thought to check my Steam library of which I have many games within and decided to randomly pick a game from there. So today we're looking at a game of a genre that I am familiar with but not a complete expert on and that game is Neon Chrome. So let's take a look:

The game has a simple revolution scenario where the player must take on the role of a remotely controlled human robot in an attempt to stop the Overseer and their oppressive regime on dystopic society. The game is played from a top down perspective as you try and shoot or melee your way through levels filled with enemies, traps, collectibles and other things too. But there is a twist which is that each time you fail, you start from the beginning again, albeit with procedurally generated levels so that it doesn't always start the same for everyone.

Yeah for a seemingly indie game, some of them are promising but are often limited to what it can offer. But in a world where bigger is better for the world of gaming, indie games don't always go to that length and as a community, we are generally OK with that. So the game itself is OK for something to fill up our time between game releases, but you are likely to finish it sooner than you think. Its a decent game which probably won't win any awards, but is fun when it can be that's for sure. 7/10
