Random Video Game Review - Sheltered

We continue this long line of Steam games I have that I have yet to review by looking at yet another game in my library that's at the time of the post, on sale within the Steam Store. So while pixelated games released nowadays are not considered 8-bit or 16-bit, we retro gamers still have a need and love for them and are always wanting to play any that come out. This time we have a game all about survival in a post apocalyptic world (yeah that sounds familiar I know) and well let's get to it before the same happens to us:

The story centers on a family who take refuge in a underground shelter in the midst of a nuclear war. As they try and survive, the player is tasked with helping the family get through some tight situations and threats that can range from starvation to dehydration among many other things. All this as we owe in the retro style graphics giving it some nostalgic value.

Yeah not mucb to say about this one. Its another one of those Kickstarter games that Team17 would later publish and its actually a pretty decent game. Unfortunately its nothing new nor innovative to say the least. But it has its nostalgia feels and fulfils its purpose well so can't really complain there. 7/10
