Random Video Game Series Review - Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures

Before we start this review, my thoughts and prayers go towards those affected by the ever spreading coronavirus. Stay safe out there, wash your hands throughly and if you need to cough or sneeze, do so on your elbow or a tissue. Of course I don't need to say anymore on that as there are lots of websites and resources out there that can help where needed. And with that, let's get on with today's review:

A fair few years ago, I went about reviewing the film based around this very famous and well known Internet personality and although very silly, I think of it now as actually a decent film. But of course with video games being his thing, it comes as no surprise that the Angry Video Game Nerd would have his own set of games and that's what we are looking at today. He was the first angry reviewer and inspired many people across the Internet to start angry reviews themselves with characters and everything. So let's see what we got in these games:

Adventures
Right off the bat, you will notice that both these games are for fans of both The Nerd and retro gaming in general. With ten levels in total, lots of 2D fast paced action and pratically almost every known associate to the Nerd making an appearance somewhere, this is trully one game not to be taken lightly. It manages to capture almost everything we know and love about video games as well as the Nerd himself and it can be quite challenging too. But then again if you are up for that challenge, then go for it. 9/10

Adventures II: ASSimilation
The AVGN returns and this time the world has turned into a video game and the Nerd must use everything in his arsenal to save the world and face his most powerful foe yet (and anyone who was watching his videos in 2008 will know who this foe is... unless that foe has been phased out for someone else). 22 levels with more challenges than ever, but boy is it nostalgic just like the first one. Its probably even better than the first too, but that's for you to decide. For me, its just as good as the first. 9/10

So I guess you could say that the AVGN games are just as good as the show is. Lots of nostalgia, lots of cursing. This trully is one for the fans and those who like gaming in general. Worth a play if you like me want that nostalgic fix. 9/10

Movie Review - Inside Out 2

I guess a sequel to the first makes sense here. I mean, for the most part, this franchise is all about the subject of growing up and with ...
